These terms are between you and Kyle Kendall, doing business as Known So Far. By using knownsofar.com you agree to them.

1. What this is. Known So Far is a reading companion. We summarize characters, places and events up to the point you’ve reached, written to avoid spoilers beyond it. We do our best, but we can’t promise there will be no errors or spoilers.
2. Books. The books we cover are public domain in the United States. Where we link to a text, such as Project Gutenberg, that text belongs to the public domain. Our companion content (summaries, notes, maps, layout and design) belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it for personal, non-commercial reading. Please don’t copy it at scale, scrape it, or republish it.
3. No affiliation. We aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by any author, estate, publisher, retailer or library mentioned on the site. Names are used only to identify books and sellers.
4. Affiliate links. Some links to booksellers are affiliate links. We may earn a commission and don’t sell or publish those books.
5. Feedback. If you send us feedback, you give us permission to use it to improve the site, without payment or credit. Don’t send anything you don’t have the right to share.
6. Acceptable use. Don’t disrupt or attack the site, or use automated tools that overload it.
7. Copyright concerns. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, tell us through the feedback form (start your message with “Copyright concern”) with the page, a description, and a way to reach you, and we’ll review it promptly.
8. Disclaimer. The site is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it.
9. Changes and law. We may update these terms and the date above; continued use means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
